About the role
Are you an experienced Assembler with a passion for heavy structures and shipbuilding? For our client in the Netherlands, we are looking for a driven tradesperson who independently fits and positions sections and structural components. In this role, you work accurately from technical drawings and contribute directly to high-quality maritime projects.
Responsibilities
- Fitting and positioning sections and other common structural components
- Working based on work packages and technical drawings
- Ensuring quality, safety, and the precise fit of each component
- Operational collaboration with the designated Assembly Coordinator
- Reporting progress to the Production Leader Assembly
Requirements
- Relevant work experience in ship construction / shipbuilding
- Sound knowledge of structural fabrication and reading technical drawings
- Demonstrated focus on results, quality, and adaptability
- Strong commitment to the organisation and safety guidelines
Nice to have
- A completed vocational qualification (LBO or MBO) in a technical discipline
