Coating Inspector

About the role

As a Coating Inspector, you play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and durability of coating applications. You inspect, document, and advise, thereby directly contributing to the integrity of various projects. A challenging position for a meticulous professional with an eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• You inspect coating applications in accordance with applicable specifications.
• You perform visual inspections and measurements on coating systems.
• You document inspection results and report any non-conformances.
• You advise on coating processes and overall coating quality.
• You compile detailed inspection reports.
• You attend toolbox meetings and safety consultations.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant work experience as a Coating Inspector in steel construction or industry.
• MBO 4 or HBO level of working and thinking.
• In possession of a NACE Level 2 or FROSIO Level III certification.
• In possession of a VCA VOL certificate.
• If applicable, you hold Basic Offshore Safety (NOGEPA 0.5A).
• Demonstrable knowledge of relevant coating standards and specifications.
• Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English.
• You are able to work independently and accurately.

Nice to have

• Experience with offshore projects.
• Knowledge of NDT techniques.
• Familiarity with project-based working.
