About the role
Are you an experienced Plant Inspector who knows installations and equipment inside out? For our client in the Netherlands, we are looking for an independent and decisive inspector who performs inspections, identifies deviations, and advises on maintenance and repairs. A challenging assignment of 12+ months within the process industry or steel construction, where your expertise and eye for safety and quality are central.
Responsibilities
- Performing inspections of installations and equipment according to inspection plans.
- Drafting and assessing inspection reports and findings.
- Identifying and reporting deviations, defects, and risks.
- Checking compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Advising on maintenance and repairs.
- Maintaining inspection files and records.
- Participating in audits and safety rounds.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a plant inspector in the process industry or steel construction.
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations (e.g., PGS, ATEX).
- Experience with inspection techniques and methods.
- Good command of the Dutch language, both written and spoken.
- Ability to work independently and be decisive.
- Willingness to work on-site.
- Certificates: VCA VOL, IKT-2 and IKT-3.
- Education level MBO4 / HBO (EQF level 4/5).
Nice to have
- Experience with NDT methods.
- Knowledge of welding technology.
- Experience with CMMS systems.
