About the role
As a QC Inspector at Q4S, you play a key role in ensuring the quality of welded structures and steel constructions. You will work on challenging projects in the steel construction and industrial sector, where your eye for detail and technical expertise make the difference. This position offers a long-term assignment of 12+ months with market-conform conditions.
Responsibilities
- Performing quality controls on welded structures and steel constructions.
- Checking materials and components against drawings and specifications.
- Performing visual inspections and measurements.
- Preparing inspection reports and quality documentation.
- Identifying and reporting deviations and non-conformities.
- Advising on corrective measures.
- Participating in quality audits and improvement projects.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a QC Inspector in steel construction or the industrial sector.
- Knowledge of welding techniques and steel constructions.
- Experience with reading technical drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency in preparing inspection reports.
- Good command of the Dutch language, both written and spoken.
- Ability to work independently and accurately.
- Certificates: VCA VOL and IWI or equivalent inspection certificate.
- Education level: MBO-4 Mechanical Engineering or comparable.
Nice to have
- Experience with NDT methods.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001.
- Experience with project-based work.
