Are you an experienced QC Manager with a passion for quality in steel construction and heavy industry? Then this challenging role in the Rotterdam area is for you! You will have the opportunity to develop and implement quality policy, manage a team, and make a crucial contribution to our client's projects.
Responsibilities
- You develop and implement the quality policy and associated procedures.
- You manage the QC team and coordinate their day-to-day activities.
- You oversee strict compliance with specifications, standards, and customer requirements.
- You conduct both internal and external audits to safeguard quality.
- You analyse quality data and proactively initiate improvement actions.
- You compile accurate quality reports and documentation.
- You act as the central point of contact for all quality-related issues.
Requirements
- You have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role within steel construction or heavy industry.
- You have demonstrable experience with quality management systems, specifically ISO 9001.
- You operate at a higher vocational (HBO) working and intellectual level.
- You have sound knowledge of relevant norms and standards within steel construction and industry.
- You possess strong leadership and communication skills.
- You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- You have an excellent command of both written and spoken Dutch and English.
- You hold a VCA VOL certificate.
- You hold an internal auditor certification (ISO 9001).
Nice to have
- Experience with NDT techniques (Non-Destructive Testing).
- Knowledge of welding processes and welding qualifications.
- Experience with project-based work.
- Quality certifications, such as IWT/IWE.
